Great Memories, & Now Back to Work :D

Just coming off of such a great time in the States makes both Greg and I so thankful for the friends, family, and connections we have made in our lives and how blessed we are to have the support and backing from those we know love us dearly. God is faithful and has brought us back to our island safely. We had an interesting set of flight connections involving a snow storm in New York but we are back and ready to move forward.

Being in the states was so refreshing. We got to enjoy the American Culture (you don't know how much you miss Walmart and free drink refills until you don't have them anymore ;)). However being in the States made us realize how much we miss our church family and ministry team here in Las Palmas. Greg recovered quickly from jet lag on our way back but me, not as much. It took us a few days to recover (which is part of the reason this blog post is being published over a week after we arrived) but now we are ready to go.

So quick update on the church and things going on here:
* We are drawing nearer to having a building of our own (because of the holidays and people going on vacation there wasn't much that could be done during the time we were in the States).
* The church has been and is growing by the week.
* We, the CLIC Pastoral Staff, are preparing for discipleship courses to be offered as soon as we get into the new building.
* There is no lack of vision for the church and for the city. We eagerly anticipate seeing all God will do through us in our new location
We can't wait to see what these next few months will hold for us and Christian Life International Church. God is doing great things and we are excited to be apart of it.
