I would love to say that we would have the funds to leave before the month is over but it looks like we still have some learning to do here in the states. With our funds having been raised up to $15,500 and monthly about $3,000 and with Thanksgiving past and Christmas right on our doorstep, it has been hard to itinerate and visit churches. Many pastors and churches have plenty of things on their hands but I'm so grateful we get to spend Christmas with my family.
I know this may be our last Christmas before we won't see any of them for two years and that's kind of a hard pill to swallow, but we are enjoying the quality time with our church and friends. Pastor has given me an exciting project for the Christmas morning service so that will be fun. Pastor is allowing Greg to preach Sunday night. I love to hear that man of God speak!
So, no we have not left for the mission field yet, and no our monthly supporters do not have to give until we are off to the mission field, but yes we are still believing God will provide the funds for us to leave before spring.
