Moving right along.....

So yesterday, our home church surprised us with a slide show (a few words of advice.... don't post any pics on facebook that you don't want displayed on the church screens for the entire congregation to see) and a large pledge for our monthly support. Then the congregation stood up and we received over 20 new pledges from the congregation. How amazing is God that He allowed our church to encourage us with more support. We are so grateful that we can be part of this incredible work that God is doing! "The drought is over!"We have a few meetings with different churches coming up here soon so please be praying for us. Greg just got over being sick and he is back in action. I'm looking forward to seeing how people react to this man of God.
Greg and I have learned patience and the fact that this is a process. God has kept us and we are waiting on His perfect timing. We are learning to manage our time and keep Christ before everything. It can become very easy to become complacent and lazy. If you didn't know, Missionary Associate, raising our budget, itinerating, and preparing for Austria is both of our full time jobs. I read this verse and it was very encouraging and a bit of a wake-up call to watch that this doesn't just become an excuse to sleep in and be lazy.
Ephesians 5 15 Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise— 16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil. 17 So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
Oh, and just so you know, German isn't a very user friendly language to learn. It's very harsh so please pray that the Lord will give me grace in my effort to learn this language.
May the Lord bless you and keep you! I will continue to blog so that you will be up to date on what is going on with us.
