February....

So we just went through one of our busiest weeks. We had two meetings with churches, one on Wednesday and the other on Sunday. We were able to catch up with some old friends and Lifepoint Church with Pastor Doug allowed us to be apart of their amazing missions celebration service. It was absolutely encouraging. Jesus showed up in that service and we were invited to be apart of a sending out service for their short term mission team that will be going to Belize here soon. Thank you so very much Mr. Vance and Mrs. Debbie Milton and Lifepoint Church for partnering with us.
We also were able to go to Ignited Church in Lakeland. Thanks to Pastor Strader and a very encouraging congregation we felt very welcome. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your international service.
We also helped a couple friends with a potato bar fund raiser. That was a great creative idea to raise money for their short term missions trip.
Coming up at the end of this month, our church is hosting a huge dramatization called the Glory and the Fire. It's a great evangelistic tool to reach out to the community with a very large production to show the reality of death Hell and Heaven. The entire church is rallying behind this and I love seeing the church come together to reach the lost.
On top of all that, the Pasco County Fair is right around the corner. that means there is a parade and lots of volunteering. So we are definitely not sitting back stagnant.
We continue to look forward as we get closer to our goal. We are 2/3 of the way to getting our full monthly commitment goal. If that's confusing, we have 2 ways we have to raise our budget. We have a cash budget if over $15,600 that we need cash in hand before we leave but we also have to have close to $3,000 in monthly pledges that we have of partners who have committed giving starting when we leave for the mission field. We are sitting close to $2,200 in monthly commitments and only looking at $800 more a month to be pledged. Our church has rallied behind us and has pledged most of the monthly commitments. We are grateful for how God is working this all out for the good of us that love Him and are called for His purpose.
