Organization, Prayer, and dreaming BIG!

A little time has passed since Sus Pasos. It was a great opportunity to reach out but that doesn't mean we stop there.
There is so much that is going on behind the scenes now. The team (CLIC Staff) has been preparing for prayer meetings, Ladies events, children's events, outreaches, and discipleship. Sunday services have been incredible and God has been showing up and showing off.
Last Saturday we had such a sweet time of prayer. God really laid it into pastor's heart to believe for miracles. God is faithful and able! We were able to pray for the Lord to move on behalf of His children and to allow them to be a testament to His goodness. There were around 50 people dedicating an hour and a half to seek after the heart of God. It's so encouraging to see people crying out for the lost and broken. Greg had the privilege of running the sound and I had the privilege of creating a slideshow with prayer scriptures running in the background and being able to sing with the worship team.
Right now we are in the one of the first stages of an outreach that will be church wide .... But I can't say much about it now. ;)
There is a ladies breakfast this weekend and one of the ladies from the church and I have been asked to sing a duet half English and the other half Spanish. Greg is also working on much of the social networking and the media for the church. If you haven't visited the website, check it out. Much of that is spearheaded by Greg and I.
In the four months we have been here we can both see the growth happening in each others lives. We have great mentors who have a gift for hospitality and friends here that are patient and helpful. We have family (both physical and spiritual) back home that support us and love.... Which the letters and notes from home are so very encouraging! We are loving the cards. And we couldn't be more thankful to God who sustains us. The Gospel is being advanced and there is more opportunity for discipleship. That's what we are called to do, to go and make disciples of all nations.
